Thanks Jeremy for this list and the specific advice... It's spot on!

With a PR firm focused on the mobility space, the blogging community in our niche of the market is incredibly influential, and the more we work with them, the more we hear stories of PR folks who just don't get it. Thankfully, with experience and bloggers like you and the others you've mentioned here that are willing to share advice and best practices, I'm hoping those PR pros late to the game will start to get the message - - and start giving bloggers the same kind of VIP treatment they afford other influential media.

It's rather appalling that you even have to mention #5 (Be ready for follow-up). I imagine how infuriating it must be to be pitched and then to have the PR person you respond to ask YOU to validate your blog before they can respond with a review product. Wow.

Thanks again for the insights, and keep 'em coming.

It seems that Apple TV does not perform well on some HD TVs which should be fixed, because not everyone has bought a HD TV at home.

[...] Mari’s not the only one traveling this week. 36 hours after returning from a week in California, I flew on down to Orlando yesterday. I did enjoy a quiet dinner at the pool while Georgetown embarrassed UNC in overtime last night. But today, it’s all business: I’m doing double duty down here at CTIA here as both an industry guy and as a blogger (tips for the PR folks). Anyone else in Orlando? Drop me a line.
