Ripping CDs at Starbucks

OK, so I have to admit, at first I thought this idea was just plane dumb. Dare I say that I’m starting to warm up to it a bit. More the concept though, I don’t think I’m their target customer, but I could certainly rattle off a long list of friends that are. Friends hanging out in Starbucks as a second office, a place outside the apartment to read and of course a local place to pick up on the intellectual type ladies.


These friends don’t really listen to the radio or watch MTV and their exposure to new music is limited to recommendations from friends. Providing their insanely loyal customers exposure to new music and the ability for an impulse CD burn/purchase while sipping their triple non-fat…no whip…grande…frappuccino might just ring up some revenues.
