Plasma TVs Lead Gadget Price Declines

If we told you that consumer electronics, PCs, and digital gadgets were actually getting cheaper, would you believe us? Now if we were to say it's not only true, but the culprits behind this price drop were plasma TVs, would you completely lose your mind?

I sure hope not! Chill!

Plasmas are in fact getting cheaper. This is a good thing, since there is a ton of competition now for the flat-screen market, especially as LCD screens have gotten so good, and for so cheap. Also, little known to the average consumer, the time it takes to actually make a plasma display was cut over EIGHT-FOLD this year. Yes, that means if it took 8 hours last year, it takes one hour now. Unfortunately, we only get a 9ish percent price drop. Good thing they aren't powered by oil!
