New 40-inch+ LCDs take on Plasmas

I’ve always been a David Pogue fan and he recently wrote an interesting article in the Times on Plasmas vs. the new large LCD TVs. It used to be that if you wanted a nice thin wall mountable TV over 40 inches you had to go plasma. That’s no longer the case. Samsung and Sharp now have LCDs in the 45 inch range that are quite compelling. If you’re still confused between the two technologies (like 90% of the world) this is a good read.
