American Airlines Testing Portable Entertainment Devies

Well it’s about time. Long haul domestic travel in the US basically sucks. It looks like AA is on the right path to making it a bit more enjoyable. They’re currently running a trial where for $10 you can rent a 9 inch portable player that has current movies, games, news and magazines stored on an internal hard drive. Right now you’ll need to fly from Chicago to LA in order to check it out, but if it goes well they’ll be expanding it to other routs.
