Philips Ambilight LCD TVs

Philips says that displaying a neon hue behind their LCD TVs reduces eye strain. I have to say I’m on the fence here. It’s either kinda cool or cheesy as hell. I think the only way you can really pull this off is if you live in South Beach or the under carriage of your rice burner has the same glow.
