DVD Lagging TV in Recorders Race

Amidst all the confusion, it looks like consumers are finally starting to get the fact that there are better ways to record TV shows than a 20-year-old VCR with a blinking 12:00. As the analyst in the piece states, there remain a lot of perception issues with what you can and can't do with a DVD recorder or a PVR.
